In this kit, you get to grow a container full of beautiful crystals that form in less than 24 hours, another cup of slightly bigger crystals that form in about a week, and then one really big crystal! These are awesome. The best part is, there's absolutley NO boiling or heating of any kind required! This teaches about how and why crystals form and about why you can dissolve a solid into a liquid, and create crystals by refrigerating it.
All you need to make the crystals is the kit and a refrigerator.
Includes: 2 bottles of Crystalizer™ (Magnesium Sulfate), 3 plastic cups, string, a popsicle stick, and instructions.
NOTE: Magnesium Sulfate (also known as epsom salt) is non-toxic, and harmless if ingested in a small quantity.
