I've been into science since pre-school. Now I'm fourteen, and in ninth grade. I seem to have a talent for teaching and entertaining other kids with science projects. That's great for me, because I love teaching, and I love science stuff!

Connor's Kits for Kids got started in 2004 (when I was in fourth grade) because I became frustrated with the science kits I spent my hard earned (and never enough) allowance on. They were expensive, and sometimes didn't explain why the experiment(s) worked. They also didn't come with even half of the materials needed to do the experiment, so I would have to wait until the next time we went to the grocery store and spend even MORE moey on additional supplies. I finally began pulling ingredients together myself to do my own experiments that were more fun, and were MUCH less expensive.

My friends really liked doing experiments with me, so I put together some kits and started selling them. I've sold a bunch of kits so far and people (which would be kids and adults) have told me that they love them! It worked so well that my parents helped me make Kits for Kids into the business it is today. When I started getting into computers and website design, I decided to start selling my kits online as well. So now, is kitsforkids.com!

  • There's more stuff!
    You can do the experiments over and over. That way, you can even experiment with the experiments. Once you know how to do the experiments my way, you can figure out your own ideas. You also will have enough supplies to teach your friends how to do the experiments, and how they work.
  • You can follow the experiments yourself!
    When you get a new toy, and you need help with it, do you have to wait until your adults get around to helping you? Sometimes I do, and it drives me crazy! My parents are great at helping me out, but they're busy and I want to play with my stuff right away. I've worked hard to write easy to follow instructions so you shouldn't have any problem (of course, you should be as old as the age on the kit). If you are younger, you will probably need a little adult help.
  • EVERYTHING is really, really, included. Really.
    I get sooo tired of needing to hunt down batteries or vinegar, or whatever. Plus, each extra item you have to supply yourself adds to the actual cost of the kit. The Insta-pets kit even includes the water!
  • My kits are allowance friendly!
    I don't get a huge allowance, so I need to buy stuff that is definitely fun, doable and won't end up in the trash in a day. I work very hard to create exciting kits that last a good long time and that we kids can afford.
